In fact, more than 80% of leather production is made of 'chrome leather'. The quality of vegetable tanned leather is better than that of ordinary leather, but in the process of use, the evaluation is different due to differences in personal preferences, so the formula "vegetable tanned leather = good leather" is not appropriate.Compared with chrome tanned leather, vegetable tanned leather differs in surface processing method.
Generally speaking, the finishing of chrome tanned leather is to carry out some processing on the surface; vegetable tanned leather does not need this process, but maintains the original wrinkles and texture of the leather. Compared with ordinary leather, it is more durable and breathable, and it has the characteristics of getting softer with use. However, in terms of use, there may be more disadvantages without processing. Because there is no coating film, it is easy to get scratched and stained, so it may be a little troublesome to manage.
